London Kemp Boykin started with Amazon in December 2020. In her current role, she leads an Operations organization that includes Sustainability, Design, Design Technology, Engineering, Strategy and Cost Optimization teams providing end to end support for the Amazon Global Fulfillment Network, which spans over a billion square feet. Her organization supports innovative sustainable development worldwide, ensuring they meet the highest design standards and industry leading requirements.
In her prior role at Amazon, as Director of Global Portfolio Strategy & Transactions for the Global Real Estate & Facilities team, she was responsible for leading global portfolio strategy, research and analytics and transaction management for approximately 60MM square feet of commercial real estate, including the purchase, lease and development of Office, Studios and production facilities.
London commenced her career at White & Case, LLP in the complex commercial litigation division and transitioned to her first real estate role in-house for The Cheesecake Factory Restaurants, Inc. She has over 20 years’ experience managing multi-billion-dollar U.S. and international real estate portfolios at companies including Walmart, NBC, Ingram Micro, Netflix and Amazon. Her global real estate experience includes direct management of a 1.8-billion-dollar development fund, multi-billion acquisitions, dispositions, development, operations and leasing across a variety of asset types (retail, restaurant retail, distribution/fulfillment, data centers, theme parks, antennas, oil and gas, billboards, studios, production, industrial and office).
She holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Comparative Women's Studies from Spelman College and a Juris Doctorate from the University Southern California Gould School of Law. Among other awards and accolades, in 2021, 2022 and 2023 London was honored as Commercial Observer’s Power LA, and in 2020 London was honored for Outstanding Excellence & Influence in Los Angeles Commercial Real Estate. London presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, Global Governing Trustee for the Urban Land Institute and the Real Estate Associate Program (REAP), a non-profit board designed to foster opportunities in Commercial Real Estate for Minorities and Women.
