Scott co-leads new business generation for Hines in Atlanta and specializes in developing, acquiring and financing large-scale projects. Over his career, Scott has been involved in more than $8.5 billion in real estate investments across all major property types throughout the U.S. In his previous role at Hines, Scott was part of the investment management team in Houston which oversaw the Hines U.S. Core Fund, REIT and Global REIT. Scott has also held roles at Canyon Partners Real Estate in Los Angeles where he served as a Director responsible for debt and equity investments in the Southeast, Lubert-Adler Real Estate Funds in Philadelphia and Bank of America Merrill Lynch (now BofA Securities) in New York where he was a member of the real estate, gaming and lodging investment banking group. Scott is a graduate of Emory University and holds a M.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Scott is a member of the Zell / Lurie Real Estate Center at Wharton and ULI’s Suburban Development and Redevelopment Product Council.
