William Zeh Herbig directs ULI's Homeless to Housed (H2H) Initiative. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including co-leading Kimley-Horn's Atlanta-based Planning and Urban Design Studio and managing programs at the Markle Foundation, the Congress for the New Urbanism, the National Capital Planning Commission, and Atlanta's Midtown Alliance. His leadership also extends to his service as an elected Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner for Dupont Circle in Washington, DC. William holds a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a B.S. in Urban Studies from Georgia State University's Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. He has studied architecture at the Savannah College of Art and Design. He is a 2010 Next City Vanguard and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Over the past year, ULI district councils in five communities launched projects to catalyze the production and preservation of deeply affordable housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. Each team will share insights and replicable lessons learned through a series of rapid-fire presentations, followed by an interactive open house for casual discussions and deeper engagement.
