Kelly Soljacich brings 25 years of experience in commercial real estate portfolio and asset management as well as two years in Venture Capital. She currently works in Corporate Partnerships at Moderne Ventures, where she specializes in multifamily and sustainability products. In this role, she evaluates emerging technology from both an investment and owner-user perspective, advises owners on technologies to enhance their portfolio market value as well as advising Moderne’s portfolio companies on refining their go-to-market strategies within commercial real estate.
Prior to joining Moderne in 2023, Soljacich served as Senior Vice President at LaSalle Investment Management (JLL). She initially managed a diverse national portfolio across multiple funds and client accounts before transitioning to Head of Proptech and later Head of EST Innovation (Environmental, Social, and Technology).
Earlier in her career, she held asset and portfolio management roles at Deutsche Bank, Vornado, and General Growth Properties. Her expertise spans multifamily, retail, office, medical office, student housing, showroom, and industrial properties across the United States, with a particular focus on technology, sustainability, and social impact.
Kelly Soljacich is a strategic advisor to GRESB and the CreTech Climate Coalition. She serves on the Board of Directors for URS (Utility Revenue Services) and as a Board Member of the American Red Cross of Illinois, the U.S. Proptech Council, and ULI’s Technology Product Council.
She holds a BA in Finance from the University of Iowa and is a dedicated volunteer, serving as both a Project Destined Ambassador and a Blood Donor Ambassador for the American Red Cross.
