Elizabeth is an architect who finds balance and joy working on projects simultaneously rooted in community-engaged processes as well as in construction detailing. She is driven by the challenge of translating community values tangibly into the built environment. Her past project experiences range from a 30,000sf museum to a 200sf rainwater learning pavilion and everything in between.
Elizabeth grew up in the exurbs of South Florida, a setting which influenced her perspectives on how designers can build for a sustainable, inclusive and justice-centered built-environment, a perspective she brings to her work as an architect and as an educator. During flower season, you can find her in her garden surrounded by swamp mallows, fire wheels, and coreopsis.
