Mary Ann King is the Co-Head of Berkadia Institutional Solutions. Berkadia provides a suite of services to its multifamily and commercial clients that includes investment sales, mortgage banking and servicing.
In partnership with Tom Moran, Sr., Mary Ann founded an apartment brokerage firm called Moran & Company in 1994. That firm grew to be one of the dominant players in institutional apartment investment sales on the West Coast. Moran & Company’s institutional sales business was sold to Berkadia in 2021.
Mary Ann was the chair of NMHC from 2006 -2008 and chaired one of ULI’s Multifamily Product Councils from 2010 – 2012. Mary Ann has served as a ULI Trustee and the Product Council Counselor for all of the Multifamily Product Councils.
Mary Ann is on the Board for Over the Rainbow, an Illinois not-for-profit that develops affordable housing solutions for individuals who depend on a wheelchair for mobility.
