Douglas Selph is a Partner with Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia, focusing on commercial real estate finance. Douglas has substantial expertise in structuring, documenting, negotiating and closing loan transactions for CRE borrowers (particularly REITs), including complex syndicated credit facilities involving multi-state collateral, unsecured credit facilities, working capital lines, acquisition loans and mezzanine loans. He has also been actively involved in debt restructurings, workouts and merger transactions for CRE clients.
In addition to his real estate finance practice, Douglas also handles real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and general real estate development matters. Douglas has been involved with the Atlanta ULI Chapter for many years and is an alumni of the 2011 ULI Center for Leadership.
Doug is a frequent speaker at real estate law seminars sponsored by the State Bar of Georgia, The American College of Real Estate Lawyers and The American Law Institute on such topics as real estate finance, intercreditor rights, legal opinions, ethics, and letters of credit, and has published articles in the Georgia Law Review, the Georgia Bar Journal, and the Practical Real Estate Lawyer.

Explore the latest data related to this growing yet underserved and often overlooked market segment, and the potential design and marketing opportunities for student, Gen Z, and senior-oriented housing. The session is presented by the ULI Americas Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
