Charles Hicks is a commercial real estate attorney with Atlanta-based AmLaw 200 law firm Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP. Charles focuses his practice on all aspects of business entities and commercial real estate, representing real estate investment funds, institutional landlords, tenants, developers and property managers in the formation, acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing and management of retail, multi-family, office, commercial, and industrial projects. Additionally, Charles focuses on advising startups as they launch and scale. In April 2023, Charles co-founded the South’s first LGBTQ Business practice group to help LGBTQ-owned and -operated businesspeople as they scale their businesses and CRE investments.
Charles received Morris, Manning & Martin’s 2022 Wells-Graham Award for Outstanding Service, given to one MMM attorney or staff member each year who goes above and beyond in their dedication to serving the community.
