Capri Roth is a partially deaf affordable housing developer who joined The Kelsey’s Board of Directors in 2023 after several years of volunteer and advisory involvement. She brings her lens of both lived experience and technical expertise to The Kelsey’s vision for disability-forward inclusive housing opportunities. Professionally, Capri is the Executive Vice President of Real Estate Development for the East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) based in Oakland, CA. Informed by her 12 years as a development practitioner, Capri is an active policy and community advocate, driven by her belief that everyone should have an affordable and safe place to live and that all communities should be highly-resourced. In addition to her role with The Kelsey and her work with EBALDC, she participates in the Nonprofit Housing Association of Northern California’s (NPH) Legislative and Regulatory Issues working groups. Capri earned her M.B.A. from Lehigh University, where she received a Martindale Fellowship, and a B.A. from The New School.
