Amy Pokawatana serves as Vice President, Development Design at Hudson Pacific Properties. In her role, Pokawatana oversees the development, design and construction of multiple commercial and studio projects, ranging from redevelopment to new construction across Hudson Pacific’s more than 21 million-square-foot portfolio. Currently, Pokawatana leads several innovative projects across Hudson Pacific’s portfolio, including projects in Los Angeles, the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Vancouver, New York and the U.K. She is responsible for ensuring the design excellence and quality of the Hudson Pacific brand is achieved. This includes ensuring that Hudson Pacific’s sustainability goals are met at every step of each project, while balancing cost and schedule.

Pokawatana previously served as Director, Development for Hudson Pacific’s Southern California region. Prior to joining Hudson Pacific Properties, she was a Senior Associate/Project Manager for the Commercial Office Buildings and Media & Technology studios at Gensler, focusing on Class A office buildings and creative office workplace for Media & Technology clients. Prior to Gensler, she worked with Ehrlich Architects and Koning Eizenberg Architects on various commercial office buildings and higher education projects.

Pokawatana is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, where she served as the Vice-Chair of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion on its Entertainment Development Council, and she currently serves on the Urban Development Mixed-Use Council Red Flight. In addition, she is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, NAIOP and was Past President of the University of Southern California Architectural Guild Board.

Pokawatana is a licensed Architect in the state of California and a LEED Accredited Professional. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Southern California.
