Throughout the pandemic, ULI’s primary concern has always been the health and safety of our members and staff. 

All members and staff attending the meeting must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This requirement applies to all aspects of the event including off site activities such as Product Council days, tours, dinners, and receptions.

To manage the COVID-19 vaccination requirement onsite at the event, we will be using Health Pass by CLEAR, a market-leading app used by many large venues and airports, which will enable all attendees to upload their proof of vaccination.

How To Use Health Pass by CLEAR

Verifying your vaccination status with Health Pass by CLEAR is a two-part process. You will need iOS 12 or newer (2018) on iPhone or Android 6.0 or newer in order to use this app.

Complete these steps NOW:

  1. Download the free CLEAR app and select Create Your Health Pass: APPLE STORE or GOOGLE PLAY

  2. Enter your Health Pass code: ULI2021
  3. New CLEAR members will be guided through enrollment steps and existing CLEAR members can use the email associated with their CLEAR membership
  4. Follow the steps in the app to complete the Entry Requirements – you will need a physical copy of your vaccine card for this process

When you arrive at the event, show your Health Pass to obtain your badge.

Can’t upload your vaccine card?

If for any reason you are unable to upload proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status to Health Pass by CLEAR, you MUST bring the original paper version of your card and a valid, governtment-issued photo ID with you in person to the Fall Meeting for on-site verification. You will not be admitted otherwise, though you can still access Fall Meeting content digitally.

Coming from outside the U.S.?

If you are traveling from outside the U.S., you may not be able to use the app and will need to bring a physical copy of your COVID-19 vaccine card and a valid, government-issued photo ID for on-site verification. ULI will follow the World Health Organization’s (WHO) guidance on acceptable vaccines. You will not be admitted otherwise, though you will still have digital access to Fall Meeting content.

What if I fail to verify my COVID-19 vaccination status via Health Pass by CLEAR and I don’t have a physical copy of my vaccine card with me in Chicago?

If you do not provide proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status by successfully completing the steps using Health Pass by CLEAR or by presenting your original vaccination card with a government-issued photo ID in person at the event, you will be denied entry to the Fall Meeting and all associated programming, though you will still have digital access to Fall Meeting content. Photos of cards will not be accepted.

Will proof of recent infection with and recovery from COVID-19 serve in lieu of providing proof of vaccination?

No. Without proof of vaccination you will not be able to attend the Fall Meeting though you will still have digital access to Fall meeting content.

May I attend if I am partially vaccinated for COVID-19?

No. You must be fully vaccinated in order to attend in-person, but you may still access digital content.

Are masks required if I am vaccinated?

Yes. Masks are required by law for all indoor activities in the City of Chicago and must be worn by all attendees during all parts of the Fall Meeting.

Need to update your registration?

If you have already registered for the Fall Meeting and did not indicate your vaccination status or indicated that you are not vaccinated, you may either update your vaccination status or change to a digital only package by using the “Modify Registration” link provided in your registration confirmation email, or you may request a refund by contacting
