Ms. Yasmina Platt

National Aviation Planning and Advisory Lead AtkinsRealis

Yasmina Platt is the National Aviation & Planning Advisory Lead for AtkinsRéalis. She leverages her extensive and broad aviation experience to aid airports and heliports by optimizing their existing assets and planning future assets to be efficient and future-proof. Over the course of her professional career, Yasmina has worked for airports, sponsors, consultants, advocates and aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in many capacities including aircraft sales, transportation research, advocacy, policy, marketing, aviation infrastructure (airport/heliport/vertiport) planning, design, and management. Having led infrastructure efforts for one of the leading electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft OEMs, Yasmina is at the forefront of the Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) sector. Additionally, as an actively licensed pilot and flight instructor (CFI and CFII), rated in single and multi-engine airplanes, seaplanes, and helicopters, Yasmina brings unique user insights. Yasmina holds a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a M.S. in Transportation Planning and Management from Texas Southern University. She volunteers for the Transportation Research Board (TRB), Vertical Aviation International (VAI), and several outdoor organizations.
