Megan has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. Formerly the Vice President of the Los Angeles region of Skanska USA Commercial Development, which delivers customer-focused, highly sustainable office, mixed-use, and multifamily properties across the United States. Megan was responsible for guiding her project teams through the execution of Skanska’s regional strategy, including acquisitions, conceptual design, permitting, pre-construction activities, leasing, operations, and disposition. Megan oversaw the completion and sale of Skanska’s first development project in the greater Los Angeles area, a more than 50,000-square-foot LEED Platinum office building in Beverly Hills, as well as entitlements to build a 45,000-square-foot development in Beverly Hills, and entitlements to build a 350,000-square-foot net zero carbon, creative office development in the Arts District of Los Angeles.
Before joining Skanska, Megan worked as the Senior Development Manager for The Ratkovich Company overseeing the recapitalization of assets, redevelopment, and leasing, as well as entitlements for a 790-unit residential development. Before joining Ratkovich, Megan worked as a portfolio manager for Kimco Realty’s Los Angeles and Ventura County properties with oversight of the management and leasing of over three million square feet of GLA.
Megan is an executive board member of the Sister Stella Foundation, a board member for NCP Mobility, and a member of the Urban Land Institute providing mentorship to members of the Young Leaders Group, as well as the Women’s Leadership Initiative and ICSC. She was also selected as one of Connect CRE’s 2021 Women in Real Estate Awardees, Bisnow’s SoCal Power Women in 2018 and 2022, and LA Business First Woman of Influence in 2023. Megan received her bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Washington
