J.D. Lumpkin is the Executive Managing Director and Investor Services Lead of Cushman & Wakefield’s San Francisco office. J.D.’s brokerage practice is primarily focused on agency leasing in downtown San Francisco and he is consistently ranked among the top commercial real estate brokers in the Bay Area. With 22 years of experience at Cushman & Wakefield, he has leased and sold over 9 million square feet, including the historic Salesforce Tower lease (714,000 SF).


A recognized authority within the real estate community, J.D. is a regular guest speaker on numerous industry panels and a prolific thought leader who has appeared regularly in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Bloomberg, The San Francisco Business Journal, The San Francisco Chronicle and other industry publications. J.D. leads C&W’s Investor Services Council in San Francisco and is among 15 members of the company’s National Investor Services Leasing Group.
