Mrs. Cheryl McOsker

Director ULI Austin

Cheryl McOsker is an experienced nonprofit and association leader with more than 25 years of expertise in membership development, program strategy, and event management. She currently serves as Director of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Austin District Council, where she leads a diverse portfolio of initiatives connecting Central Texas's real estate and land use community. During her 11-yr tenure with ULI Austin, the district council's membership has grown 240%, with more than 70% of members actively engaged through local product councils, leadership cohorts, and monthly programming. She leads major events and technical assistance panels that bring industry expertise to community challenges. Cheryl has also expanded ULI's reach beyond Austin's urban core, introduced youth mentorship and UrbanPlan workshops, and cultivated partnerships that strengthen the organization's impact across the region. Previously, she held leadership roles with ULI Kansas City, Cerner Corporation, and the American Public Works Association, consistently focusing on membership engagement, program design, and organizational growth. She holds a B.B.A. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City.
