The granddaughter of fisherman, farmers, conservers and performers, Brandy is an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) leader, with a holistic and integrated approach that prioritizes generational resilience, sustainability, social value, and land stewardship to create healthy, vibrant communities. Bringing nearly 20 years of sustainable building experience, climate risk planning, and resilient community development to the Avison Young team. Brandy is experienced across a wide range of property types, including entertainment and recreation centers, hotels, schools, libraries, single and multi-unit residential properties, offices, retail store fronts and distribution centers, as well as renewable energy, industrial, composting and zero waste facilities. She has also worked with agricultural leaders to identify locally sourced and traditional food supply chains including traditional foraging and in soil food production, vertical farms, aquaponics, fungiculture and beekeeping (or apiculture). Committed to collaboration and mentorship, Brandy is known for finding innovative solutions and working with communities to future-proof investments and mitigate risk. While also bringing extensive experience leading quality assured sustainable projects across North America including communities and buildings that are, LEED, WELL and Zero Carbon certified.
