Andrew is a 25-year veteran of the mobility industry, where he has focused on developing and industrializing concepts in model-based control systems, engine technology, electric vehicles, connected services, automated driving, and innovation mindset and culture. Most of his career has been with Bosch, both in the US and Germany, where he’s worked with a wide variety of customers, from Silicon Valley start-ups to established vehicle manufacturers.
Andrew is currently responsible in North America for Automated Valet Parking (AVP), a technology that drives and parks vehicles in an automated, driverless fashion utilizing sensor and compute infrastructure installed into the parking structure that communicates with the vehicle.
He currently serves on the Advisory Board of NCP Mobility and the advisory committee for the Detroit Smart Parking Lab, he is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Having grown up in Chicagoland, Andrew now resides in the Detroit metro area with his wife, two children and a very barky dog.
