The ULI Women’s Leadership Initiative presents an intimate conversation with Amy Elaine Wakeland, the First Lady of Los Angeles. Wakeland is a political strategist, public policy expert, and advocate for children and families. She helped found the Los Angeles Neighborhood Land Trust, which builds parks in Los Angeles’s most park-poor neighborhoods, and the Pobladores Fund, a giving circle that contributes to local grassroots social justice causes. The conversation will touch on her advocacy and leadership. WLI global chair Serena Wolfe will be session moderator.
