At 284 feet tall, Ascent is the tallest timber tower in the world. Hear from developers at New Land Enterprises about their strategy for using mass timber as a differentiator for this 259-unit luxury residential building in Milwaukee. Boris and Tim Gokhman will discuss the challenges, lessons learned, and successes they experienced taking timber innovations to a new height in the United States. The 25-story tower consists of 19 stories of mass timber framing over a six-level podium. For the first time, these developers will reveal the costs and returns on Ascent in the release of a business case study.

WoodWorks’ mass timber business case studies focus on the financial performance of commercial and multifamily projects constructed with mass timber structural materials such as cross-laminated timber (CLT). Written for the developer/investor audience, the case studies analyze how mass timber might contribute to the success of a development.
