Real estate leaders are increasingly focusing on health and social equity considerations. How and why are market innovators prioritizing social equity and health in their corporate strategies, portfolios, and projects? This panel will explore how real estate practice is shifting to encompass a focus on healthy people and inclusive communities. It will share findings from an ongoing ULI assessment, which is taking stock of how the real estate industry thinks about and takes action on health and social equity, as well as other ongoing research. The session will include specifics about how real estate actors can advance the integration of health, wellness, and social equity across their portfolios, and the compelling economic and social benefit reasons for doing so.
