The Dallas County Inland Port (DCIP) is a 120-square-mile (76,000-acre) area encompassing five cities and serving more than 100,000 residents. DCIP, a base of operations for 110-plus employers, has direct links to three interstate highways providing access to all major North American markets within 48 hours by truck. Already classified as the fastest-growing U.S. industrial area, DCIP will provide an additional 6,000 jobs over the next three years. Property value has risen by 50 percent from 2018 to 2021, locations are leased or occupied soon after the completion date, and the occupancy rate is consistently around 94 percent. This tour will show the growth taking place in the past decade.
