This tour will feature a visit to some of these transit-oriented development (TOD) projects, including the Ivy Station (mixed-use project under construction), the Platform (creative office space over retail/restaurants), Access (residential over retail), the historic Helms Bakery District (retail furniture stores, restaurants, creative office space, and an automated parking structure),  and key projects in downtown Santa Monica (The Esplanade, Santa Monica Place, The Village, and Tongva Park).

Things to Know

  • $60 per person.
  • Tour departs at 10:00 a.m. from the Los Angeles Convention Center and ends in Santa Monica at 3 p.m.  There will be a check-in table and sign indicating the meeting location for your tour group. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.
  • Participants will be provided with a Metro 1-Day Pass which can be used to return from Santa Monica to the Los Angeles Convention Center (allow one hour for return trip).
  • Lunch included.
  • Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
