The workplace serves as a vital part of our daily lives and a major occupier of the built environment. With a rapidly changing business climate, organizations today recognize that talent competition, emerging technologies, and the experience economy are driving the evolution of work. Since 2005, Gensler has closely studied the trends affecting workplaces to better understand what drives employee effectiveness and, ultimately, what leads to great work environments. Janet Pogue McLaurin, global leader of Gensler’s workplace practice, and Jeff Barber, Gensler’s firmwide Design Experience Leader, will present key findings from Gensler’s 2019 U.S. Workplace Survey and discuss how that is shaping the workplace and the future of building design. The session will include a compelling panel discussion with top business leaders on how they recognize and respond to the driving forces affecting their businesses, employees, and bottom lines.
