Jessie Ball duPont Fund

Sondra Fetner is a respected land use lawyer and urbanist serving as Director of Placemaking for the Jessie Ball duPont Fund in Jacksonville, Florida. She facilitates the creation of equitable and inclusive public spaces by navigating legal and bureaucratic barriers , improving public policies, and building strategic public-private partnerships. She is an influential member of City-wide arts and activation committees, a TEDxJacksonville speaker, a Jacksonville Business Journal “40 Under 40” honoree, and co-leader of the Jacksonville Riverfront’s membership in the High Line Network. Previously, Sondra owned a consulting firm and served as an Assistant City Attorney for Jacksonville and other Florida municipalities. Sondra earned both her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration- Marketing and her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. Led by a passion for urban policy, she obtained a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Southern California. Sondra has been a member of ULI since 2018 and she participated in a TAP for UFHealth.
