Richea Jones is a food activist, financial expert, author and self taught chef. She was the first African American executive director of the Greater Houston Texas Restaurant Association. Ms. Jones has both an extensive background in food and finance. Richea managed over an 85 million dollar budget for Princeton University as well as leading finances for grass roots organizations all over the country like, A Place called Home in Los Angeles, CA, Fifth Ward Community Redevelopment Corporation in Houston, TX, and Diversified Community Services in Philadelphia, PA to name a few. She has currently teamed up with actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish to develop her grocery concept in South Los Angeles, CA. Richea holds a masters degree in contracts and negotiations from California State University. Richea Jones is the Co-Founder of Diaspora Groceries and Rich Enterprises.

There are many communities across the country that have experienced historic disinvestment and there are people and businesses in these communities that are still having problems accessing capital today.
