A well-rounded design professional, Matthew Wister is a Studio Director at Studio One Eleven and has extensive experience in all phases of the architectural process. From planning and conceptual phases through design development, construction documentation and administration, Matthew embodies a passionate drive for design excellence, innovative solutions, thorough analyses, attention to detail, and successful project execution. Matthew has deep experience working with existing buildings through adaptive re-use and rehabilitation projects, often resulting in significant reductions in carbon footprint vs. new construction. He has delivered projects for both public and private clients, establishing sustainability goals early in the design process to realize successful project outcomes. Matthew received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from California State Polytechnic University Pomona and has demonstrated success in managing multiple projects while building healthy and productive working relationships with owners, clients, consultants and colleagues.
