Started as a vision, Gerard’s first major project was for Faithful Central Bible Church with the acquisition of the Great Western Forum after the departure of the Lakers. Seen as an economic catalyst for renaissance of City of Inglewood in preservation of one of the City’s iconic institutions Gerard later moved to work for Wilson Meany, a San Francisco based developer, to work on re-imagining of the Hollywood Park Racetrack property. At Wilson Meany, Gerard is the Senior Project Manager that was responsible for the entitlement of Hollywood Park. This massive 298-acre parcel yielded the NFL flagship Stadium, Sofi. Additionally, the first phase of the project will produce 300,000 sq. ft. of retail, 300 residential apartment units and a five-star boutique hotel. Further entitlements for the project, will result in over 15 million square of development.

Gerard has also completed the entitlement work for the new Clippers Arena, Intuit Dome, in Inglewood which will be located directly across from Hollywood Park/Sofi Stadium. His other responsibilities include government & public affairs, as well as property and new project acquisition.

Gerard currently serves on the Board of Commissioners for both the California Association of Local Agency Formation Commission (CALAFCO) and the Local Agency Formation Commission of Los Angeles County, (LAFCO). He also serves on the board of Center Theater Group, Centinela Hospital Board, and the Martin Luther King CDC.
