David Bois, AIA, LEED AP, is a Partner at Arrowstreet, an award winning Boston-based architecture and design firm with a diverse practice in mixed-use, commercial, education and master planning. With a broad range of architectural experience gained during his 30+ years of practice David has developed specialties in residential, hospitality and life-science, integrating these typologies into mixed-use projects. He has been involved in complex public/private development partnerships including multiple city and state agencies, which leverage public transit infrastructure to create vibrant communities. David has a keen eye for maximizing the potential of each site and customizing the design to fit within the context of the neighborhood whether it be densely urban or uniquely suburban. David has and continues to lead some of Arrowstreet's most significant projects, including the lab buildings at the Harvard ERC campus, Congress Square, Ora Seaport, among many other significant projects that comprise Arrowstreet’s portfolio. David looks at the changing way people are working, socializing and incorporating technology into their daily lives and develops living environments that make community rather than a random collection of buildings. He balances constructability, fabrication and building performance with innovative technology to address the growing impacts of inflation and workforce availability to deliver high quality buildings.
