Bonnie has over 25 years of experience conducting economic, demographic, fiscal, land use, and public health analyses for public- and private-sector clients, including state and local governments, corporations, individual property owners, development organizations, and other professional service firms.

Bonnie’s portfolio consists of a wide range of consulting work for a variety of public- and private-sector clients, with a specialization in economic and quantitative analysis related to land use, transportation, and development projects where she strives to ensure that the people who live, work, and play in the communities affected by her work are made better off from her efforts.

She is committed to a wide range of community service activities, currently serving as a member of the (Oregon) Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors and as a member of (and former Chair of) the Portland (Oregon) Parks board. With her family, she has fostered guide dogs in training for Occupaws Guide Dog Association, through which she helped raise 10 dogs who are now successfully guiding blind and severely sight-impaired people.

There are many communities across the country that have experienced historic disinvestment and there are people and businesses in these communities that are still having problems accessing capital today. For instance, areas of South Los Angeles are food deserts, and the community has tried to attract new grocery stores for decades, but the private market has not yet made these investments in the community.
