Eco-Friendly Catering

We’re excited to host our event at Resorts World Las Vegas, a venue recognized with LEED Gold Certification for its outstanding energy efficiency. The resort is deeply committed to environmental sustainability across all its operations, and this eco-conscious approach will enhance our gathering. With over seven million square feet of space, the resort provides exceptional accommodations, service, and experiences, all while supporting a healthier planet.

LEED GOLD CERTIFICATION

Resorts World Las Vegas earned its LEED Gold Certification by meticulously adhering to rigorous green building standards from the very beginning. During construction, over 80% of waste and debris, by weight, was diverted from landfills. The resort has achieved significant reductions in energy use and water consumption, exceeding industry standards by over 30%. Additionally, the on-site co-generation facility operates with high efficiency, minimizing environmental impact. These efforts place Resorts World among an elite group of just seven LEED Gold-certified buildings in Nevada’s hospitality sector.

GLOBAL BIORISK ADVISORY COUNCIL

Resorts World Las Vegas stands out as the first and only property on the Las Vegas Strip to receive certification from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC). This certification represents the highest standard for facility safety, providing third-party validation that confirms the implementation of rigorous cleaning protocols. The GBAC council is made up of international experts in public health and safety and covers 20 program elements, including planning, goal setting, procurement, and training. Accredited facilities range from airports and stadiums to convention centers, schools, hotels, and spas.

UPGRADED BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

Significant investment has been made in the development of Resorts World Las Vegas, including advanced upgrades to enhance energy and water conservation. The resort employs a patented indoor air monitoring system that continuously optimizes ventilation rates, improving indoor air quality while reducing energy consumption. Additionally, the resort has implemented a comprehensive water management program, ensuring the ongoing safety and efficiency of potable and utility water systems through dynamic management.

FOOD DONATION & WASTE REDUCTION

In line with our commitment to sustainability, the team at Resorts World Las Vegas carefully separates all food waste, which is then sent to local farms to be converted into animal feed. Through initiatives like these, the resort actively promotes sustainability while fostering local demand for eco-friendly products and services. This approach helps reduce toxic materials, minimize waste generation, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and decrease water and energy consumption.
